Interview Process for IBPS PO 2022

IBPS invites candidates who pass the Mains Exam to participate in the Interview Process. The Interview Process will be worth 100 points, with a minimum score of 40 percent required to advance to the next round, which will be reduced to 35 percent for those who fall under the SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories.

Wrong Answers Penalty: For each question tried incorrectly by a candidate in both the IBPS PO 2021 Preliminary Exam and the IBPS PO 2022 Mains Exam, 0.25 marks will be deducted. There will be no penalty for a candidate who leaves a question blank or does not attempt it.

Final Selection

The candidate's final selection for the position of Probationary Officer will be based on the candidate's overall score in the Mains Exam as well as the interview process. Both of these sections of the test will be weighted in the ratio of 80:20. After the IBPS PO 2022 Exam Interview Process is completed, a merit list will be generated. Candidates that make the list will be offered a joining letter from their preferred bank.

Important Topics For English Language

The English component of the Prelims test will consist of 30 questions worth 30 points. According to the previous year's pattern, you should concentrate on the following topics.

Comprehension of Text-

In the IBPS PO prelims, you can expect 8-10 questions. It's possible that the passage was made for economic reasons. To deal with such passages, read Business Standard or The Economist.

Test for Cloze-

Prepare for a cloze test with 4-5 questions. Cover a variety of question kinds as well as questions based on the new pattern.

Error Detection/Sentence Correction/Sentence Enhancement-

On this subject, expect 6-10 questions. Instead of noticing faults, you should be prepared to answer questions from Sentence Improvement. To tackle this subject successfully, you'll need to go over grammatical principles again and make sure you understand them completely.

Jumbles/Rearrangement of Sentences-

This section of the syllabus may contain 4-5 questions for you to answer. Questions based on the new pattern should be practised as much as possible.

Important Topics For Reasoning Ability

In the IBPS PO prelims, the Reasoning Ability section contains 35 questions for 35 marks. Concentrate more on the following topics:

Seating Arrangements and Puzzles-

Expect 2-3 puzzle sets and seating arrangements, as well as 10-15 questions. Questions to practise include:

Circular arrangement that is moderate-

1 puzzle for the floor

1 layout that is linear (people sitting in a single row, some facing south and some facing north)

Try to include tabulation and box-based puzzles in addition to floor puzzles.

Syllogism-

This section will consist of 4-5 questions. Practice a variety of questions as well as new pattern-based syllogism issues.

Input-Output

Input-output questions are likely to be difficult. Remember that there is now some coding-decoding involved in Input-output questions in the new pattern of questions.

Questions based on blood relations, direction, and ranking-

Blood Relations and Direction will likely ask you 5-10 questions. These are simple topics to cover and score.

Sufficient data-

From the data sufficiency section, you can expect 5 questions. The amalgamation or combining of all the reasoning themes is known as data sufficiency. To answer Data Sufficiency questions correctly, you must understand all of the principles of each topic. This contains concerns about blood ties, direction, ranking, and coding-decoding, among other things.

Important Quantitative Aptitude Topics

In the IBPS PO Prelims, there are 35 questions in the Quantitative Aptitude segment, each worth 35 marks out of a total of 100. To get the most marks in this section of the exam, you should practise the following topics:

Number Series: Number Series will consist of 4-5 questions. As a result, you'll need to practise various patterns of missing and incorrect number series. Focus on arithmetic-based, squares/cubes-based series, and number series based on a combination of arithmetic operations and double level operations.

Data Analysis and Interpretation-

From Data Interpretation, you should expect at least two sets of questions, totaling roughly ten questions. Practice tabular DI because it is vital and has been on the exam for some years. Then add a line, bar, or pie chart to the mix. Practice Caselet, Missing, and Mixed DI questions as well.

Approximation/Simplification-

These subjects should yield 4-5 questions. Make an effort to answer these questions using the BODMAS method, and practise questions from this topic on a regular basis.

Equations with Quadratic Functions-

Quadratic Equations will present you with five questions. Use the factorization approach to practise.

Miscellaneous-

From the Miscellaneous area, you can expect 8-10 questions. Age-based problems, questions on simple and compound interest, profit, loss, and discount, partnerships, time, work, and salaries, mixture and allegation, boats and streams, and probability are all things you should practise. Expect multiple questions on time and work, partnerships, and profit and loss. Practice these topics as much as you can.
